An American hot actress borned on November 16, 1967 in San Francisco, California by her African American father Allen Bonet (1928-2008),an opera singer; and Jewish mother Arlene Litman (1930- present), who was a teacher. She also has a younger sister who attended an elite private school in Marin County north of San Francisco; and another who attended Oberlin College. Bonet attended Reseda High School in Reseda, California, and Celluloid Actor's Studio in North Hollywood where she majored in acting.
Unfortunately,their parents divorced when she was young, but her formative years were spent mostly in New York City and L.A. At a very young age, she started auditioning for commercials, and after several years of ads and walk-on TV parts, she landed a plum role in NBC's The Cosby Show that made her popular actress which idolized by the crowd. The show was an immediate hit for her, and Bonet quickly asserted herself as one of the most memorable kids in the Huxtable clan, the outspoken teenager Denise.Later on, she briefly left The Cosby Show to star in the spin-off version, A Different World that focused on Denise Huxtable's life at college.

Thus, Lisa and her ex-husband Lenny became friends again. As of 2007, Lisa staying for good in Los Angeles area with her children happily.
